Yeah, totally agree! I guess we need to figure out what kind of sound we're going for? Maybe that'll come together when we start seeking other members, yeah?

I'm a hard-rock-slash-metal kind of guy myself, but I'm flexible. It's not like I do any writing or composing or anything, so heck if I've got room to offer opinions.

Yeah, I kind of lean that way myself. I wrote the lyrics for my band before, but without a clear vision, I'll probably have trouble writing songs. Composition is important, we need someone with a good musical ear!

[His ears only work when he hears himself, so he's quite biased.]

I guess we need to find someone with those skills. Can't lean entirely on just looking and sounding good!

I mean I'm sure the audience won't mind some good eye candy, either way! But we can sound even better with the right composer!

We should announce recruitment over the network and see if we can get any bites.

[Morgan nods!] We need bass, drummer, and maybe a keyboardist. And in a perfect world one of them is an amazing bard that can play literally any instrument, but that might be getting greedy.

Those would be ideal! I met someone here, who could play the violin and the drums, so it's possible! They're in a band already, so unfortunately I can't ask them to join.

Hey, people can be in two bands. But yeah, that's a plan B. I haven't met any other musicians yet, sadly.

That's true, I'm sure he'd help us out if I ask, but I haven't seen him in a while. That's a shame! There are so many talented people here. There's another band, some people who sing or rap, and even people who play classical instruments.

Hey, those can work. I've heard a lot of music that mixed in violins or pianos or similar.

Yeah! There's an idol group back home that has a band member that plays the cello! If the lead singer wasn't so sparkling and an ass, I'd listen to their music more.

[Though as a Myumon, Crow couldn't hate their music even if he tried.]

So, including classical instruments will definitely produce a different sound for sure!

Also we're in a beggars-can't-be-choosers state at the moment, so there's that too.

True! I guess we have to wait and see what type of interest we get! I can put out a network post next month, and we can hold auditions!

Sounds like a great plan to me! Not going to make me audition too, though?

Oh yeah. Well, creating a band is your idea! It seemed like you were recruiting me rather than the other way around, so that's why I didn't even consider asking you to audition.

But I'm not a professional musician, mind!

This is true! Well if you want to prove yourself and be fair, go ahead and show me what you got!

I'll set the standard for everyone at the audition! Then they'll know how good they have to be to keep up!

That's the spirit! Leveling up the playing field, I like it! We've got to weed out the weak ones after all!

Or the ones with no heart in it. What good's skill if you can't play your heart out?

That's true! I definitely want to rock out with someone who has the same burning passion for music as I do. Maybe that's asking a lot, but it's important!

I wish you'd been able to meet Aya. Then again maybe it's better you didn't, since she's married!

Aya? Is she the lead singer of your band?

And what is that supposed to mean?! Do you think I'm capable of seducing her? Sometimes these good looks are both a gift and a curse, I can't help that!

She's our keyboardist and all-rounder, and a bard with a gift that makes us mere mortals look like we're plinking Chopsticks on a five-key kids' toy. You'd fall hopelessly for her!

I'd like to meet her, but you're probably right! I would fall for her!
