I sort of have a family now, because I suddenly have four pets. Sound and Fury are the two rabbits Ehz gave me. Chibi Kami-Sama is my cat -- he's a Turkish Van, I've found out, which is a rare breed, and yet I found him in a shelter, go figure. I haven't named the toy terrier Vee gave me for VD day yet.

They're all so cute -- they're all just babies, so they don't know they're suppose to harass and/or predate each other. They're all curled up together in a big ball of animal as I write this. It's adorable.

Speaking of Vee, *that* bombed out big time. Cat and Stephen blabbed to her, and no sooner did she see me than she gave me the "just friends" talk -- she's not interested, she doesn't want anyone interested in her, so on, so forth. She was really upset about it all, too. Stephen insists that she's just scared, but I'm pretty sure that fear aside, her choice is entirely conscious and voluntary. Of course, Stephen decided to lay on the heavy flirting with her, and she matched him in kind -- right the hell in front of me. That asshole.

Met another girl, too -- her name is Cadence, she's evidently a combination of dancer and martial artist, and she's reasonably nice to talk to when she's not being distant, or mean (like all girls are to me for some reason). We hung out last night on the porch swing and just chatted.

Ehz suddenly started channeling the guy who's trying to attack Seamus and Rose, and to my dismay I discovered I couldn't do a thing to help. Well, son of a bitch, there's a kick in the teeth...

I have to admit, my thoughts are a total jumble right now. I need to take some time to clear my head...
