It's a goodbye that shouldn't be. One that should not have been said for decades... One that was inevitable, but one that came far too soon.
Goodbye, Sashra. I will never forget you.
She loved swans. Her smile lit up my life, and holding her made me feel complete. She loved her kids at Southland, even the troublesome ones, even when they gave her grief. She took such pleasure from helping people. She always had a kind word. Southlands will never forget her; I'll make sure of that. But they will be far worse for having lost her.
You were a beautiful person, Sashra. Life to you was simple, and you brought such light to it. All that keeps me going is knowing that however the universe moves, and whatever karma you carry with you, your next life will be wonderful.
"I know one day you'll have a beautiful life. I know you'll be a sun in somebody else's sky but why, why, why couldn't it be mine?"
